I'm pretty confident Christopher Lambert with be in MK3 but for God sakes dont trust anything the IMDB tells you. The IMDB basically tries to list rumors as facts a lot of the time because anyone can really add information to it.

Hell ya Dude! Us Lambert fans knows are stuff. Lambert is no doubt, the most incredible actor in the world. Lambert should be given an oscar award for his incredible performace as Rayden. He also kicked ass in that highlander movie.

I doubt the third one will even get made. I have been hearing about it for so long and it has barely made any progress, you think after the all the money MK:DA brought that would get them started knowing that the MK fan base is still strong and kicking. And if the do a new one, I think the should pretend Annhilation was never made and do one based on the second Mortal Kombat...why continue a story when they already ruined it. I didn't complain about the first one, yeah the messed alot of things up, like the entire beginning of the movie...Scorpion and Sub-Zero, and Kano died...it was still a good movie. Annihilation on the other hand, I only watch it cause I am a MK fanboy...but there was a barely a hint of the games storyline in it...why make a sequel to that piece of crap.

Sorry if I sounded like I was flaming you all, I did not intend for it to sound that way. These are just my opinions.

Ok. 2 things. Why would he be given an Oscar for a movie he did years ago? Hate to tell you, but he missed the boat on that one, and for good reason.
And incredible performance? I hate to say this too, but the fern in the background in Outworld stood out more than he did. All he had going on for him was his scratchy deep voice. And a used mop on his head.
