I would make damn sure the script has no flaws and keeps on track with the games.

I would invest in great actors who kan really fight. I would cast Paolo Montalban to play Kung Lao. Robin Shou kan be Liu again and Chris Cassamassa would be scorpion again.

I would pay more attention to the costumes so that they would match outfits from the games.

The music i would use would be different then what we have heard in the past movies, this would less techno and more hard rock.

I would introduce fatalities that would match the gore of the games, decapitations, explosions and limb removals.

This would defenitly be an R-rated movie.

And before i forget, Adonis Marophis is going to play Quan CHi, or else, no dice!

I would keep the next movie as close to what Mortal Kombat really is... A martial Arts tournament! heres what i would do...
1) Good actors, a lot returning from the first movie like Lui,Scorp,Sub,Reptile,Johhny,Sonya, ect. They must be aslo good at physical fight scences.
2) A good in depth engrosing story that involves plot twists, while still staying true to a real MK martial arts tournament and not being some gay rebell the rules and fight anything kindof crap
3) Great dramtic music that really emphasises the big fight scenes at the end
4) More voilence including fatalities and more use of weapons!
5) Better special effects to make the projectiles like Subs ice blast more realistic
6) Long fight scenes that incoporate more use of the souroundings and hand to hand combat
