becouse Shinnok had no demon form in MK4. If you are referring to the MKM:Sub-Zero game, well, I think that the movie was quite illogical enough to leave that aspect out. Besides, they needed Shinnok to look like the uber-villain instead they made him a lame excuse for a action movie villain.

Well I guess the only reason they didn't have Shinnok in a demon form in MKA was b/c he wasn't a demon yet, he was still an elder god of wind until he was vanished.
However I too hated the way Shinnok looked and was portrayed in MKA. He and Shao Kahn looked more like Power Ranger and Superman villains rather than Mortal Kombat villains. The guy that played him was definitely not what Shinnok should be either.

Shinnok was the wind god in MKA.
If your familiar with MK Mythologies and MK4 you would know that the element gods are NOT the elder goes. The element gods are actually sons of the elder gods.

Yes in the games Fujin is the god of wind. MKA screwed the gods up! Not only are the element gods not the elders but the water god is not even a female in the games.

The reason he didn't look right is because the MKA team didn't care. If they cared they would have spent more time on script and characters than on making a rig just to kill Sheeva in one second. (damn why did they have to screw everyone and everything up!!!)

Deffinetly, MKA screwed up the MK storyline more than you could ever imagine. Raiden and Kahn brothers? Shinnok their father? Kahn with a human face? Stryker and Kabal were just Mentioned to be attacked by the extermination squads. Rain and Sheeva die in 3.4 seconds. Noob spawned from Ermac? Both Rain and Ermac displayed none of their powers. Dear god all hell has broken loose in that film.

MK3 has a whole lot to work with if they are to continue from MKA. What really made me mad besides the mentioned above was that Kahn was not the menacing and dominating figure he portrays in the games. The movies really messed him up. He was just a pawn of Shinnok's, it was horrible. Kahn should have been his own boss, and he should have just kept his helmet on.

Here's what's also weird, in the first MK he is shown with a monster-looking face, then according to the movie timeline, he appears maybe six minutes later with a human face. MK Annihilation, annihilated the MK story.
