Shou will turn 48 this year (that rules him out of MK3 right off the bat) and will be appearing in the new Street Fighter movie.

Good luck finding anyone to sign up for a new MK movie after Annihilation.

Anyway, MK 3 shouldn't even be centered around Liu Kang altogether, but yeah..
