It is said that Jade was originally supposed to be in the first Mortal Kombat movie. Her scene was to fight Sonya in the tournament. But because of the movie time her scene was cut. Wikipedia.org also claims you can find the scene as a hidden easter egg on the DVD version of the movie. If anyone can find the scene please tell.

Once again, Ermac1314, Wikipedia.org is a horrible site to beleive everything that's on it due to the fact that anyone and I mean anyone can just go on and change something on a particular thread. I cannot tell you how many things on that site are lies, and you're beleiving one of them. I've never heard anywhere, or read anything that states that Jade was supposed to be in the first MK movie.

I look back on all the pages on these fourms just to see what I missed since I've joined and saw nothing about Jade being in the first movie but was cut out. You've been lied and stop beleiving what Wikipedia has to say, because I told you what kind of people can go on. I'll restate them too, people like you, me, Bob Dole, Carrot Top, Hitler and Jesus oh and a couch potato even though I said potato couch. Yeah, don't beleive Wikipedia anymore. Waste good interenet space.

How ever in the official MK movie novel, Jade DOES appear and fights Sonya, atleast thats what I heard, hope someone can dig the novel up. But as Ice baby said, while wikipedia is good with somethings, you have to remember it can be edited by any one, its ok, they might make it more secure in future years, kinda like how on IMDB you can change and edit anything and it WAS the wikipedia in terms nobody trusted it, but now since it has tightened security and have more admins reading over the edits that are being submitted, it is waaaay more reliable and 100%.

I've been in the business for years.
Never heard a thing about this.
It's bullshit.

she was just supposed to be in,but never happned.
i've never read the novel, but i doubt about its reliability especially after naming as Cliff LoDolce the killed SF agent and missing out the whole Johnny Cage part

She was in the novelization of the movie. As she bowed to Sonya before the match, Sonya kicked her in the side of the head and knocked her out cold.

Wow, that's fair play... Somehow I didn't expect anything better from a bitch.

I've read the novel, and don't recall Jade being mentioned in it.

Well, now we know that Jade was not in the first movie, so the thread has fulfilled its purpose.
