Does anyone here remember what Lars Ulrich's dad looks like? LOL!!!!!
Pai Mei looks exactly like shujinko....his attitude and skill level is about 100 times better though. Pai Mei was one of my favorite characters in Kill Bill. I loved the big fat eyebrows and when he stroked his beard and then threw it.
Kill Bill 1 and 2 are about the best 2 movies ever.

I also think Chia Hui Liu (aka Gordon Liu) would make a great Shujinko too. As soon as I saw old Shujinko in MK:D for the first time, it reminded me of Pai Mei from Kill Bill 2. Something interesting is that Gordon Liu also played as Johnny Mo, the bald warrior of the Crazy 88.

Always been a adherent of film influences for MK fighters, it's compelling to me. Love that Shujinko was reminiscent of not just any elderly wise person, (but i'm enthusiastic in some of the acts brought up on this thread) from old kung fu flicks. In spite of his antiquity in MKD, I also see his pith for what it is.
