I like it...But does that mean that the whole movie will be Kitana convincing Liu Kang and then him fighting Shao Kahn...?

Well, actually it would be a tournament continuation cause Johny Cage and other Earth fighters then accept to fight. She convinces Liu Kang at the beginning. I’ll explain tomorrow...

OK, I took some time to write the beginning of the story that’s on my brain. I did try to keep it as short as possible:

Liu Kang beats SangTsung so they leave. Going to the portal, maybe in a boat, the earth guys happy and relive talk about: they can’t wait to go home, Johny talks about making a movie…eat…spend money…joy life…peace and stuff… and Kitana as she listens, sees some of the remaining poor skinny hungry Edenian people left, looking at her, and number of thoughts on her sad life can be seen thru her face.
[some more dialogue between them: Sonya and Johnny Cage kind of dig each other. Liu kind of falls for Kitana too…]
They get to the portal, get out of the boat, Lui wants Kitana to go with him, but, Kitana says that she can’t leave, that she belongs to Edenia, that she has to find a way to free her family from Kahn’s power…
[some more dialogue between them…]
So then the earth guys feel for her, and Liu ask her if there something he can do to help. Then she tells him that he can fight Shao Kahn, that he’s more, or can be more powerful then Kahn, and that he can win, without telling him the consequences of fighting Kahn (that Kahn has the right of continue the tournament and take over earth if he wins)
The earth guys look at each other and meditate. Liu meditates and says that he will fight NO MATTER WHAT. The arrogant first film Sonya says NO. Cage has to think about it…looks/talks to Sonya…maybe if he can talk to the wise Raiden…

Now in front of the portal there are the Shadow Priest, but say that the Shadow Priest are put there by the Gods to keep control of who goes in and out of the Portals. So as the Shadow Priest brake down to Lui Kang the rules and consequences of fighting Kahn, Kitana kind of interrupts them and says that she knows the rules and that she and Liu has agreed to fight. Liu agrees that he’ll fight regardless, you know, Kitana help him defeat Tsung…he cares about Kitana…he’s the chosen one…thinks Earth is already save…
Now Cage ask the Shadow Priest if he can go see Raiden first, you know, before he makes any choice. They do give him the time and allow Kitana, Liu and Sonya go with him.


At the other end of the portal, after they cross it, Cage thinks about the issue and turns to the other side Shadow Priest and says he will fight (maybe guessing that Raiden would say that he should fight anyway…that he can help…he too believes that Liu Kang will win and wants to be there, see it, do a movie about it…maybe he’s just brave…).
Sonya looking at Cage actions kind of meditates too [some dialogue and argument between the guys] still doesn’t agrees to fight, but, wants to talk to Raiden about it this time, so the Priest time deal is still on.
So Liu Kang, Kitana and Johnny Cage will fight now.

Now, the next would be much like the ending of the first movie, you know, they get to the temple of light, they see the people and little children celebrating so they kind of get in the happy mode too. Then they see Raiden. [maybe their same little dialogue from the first film]
Then they see a portal opening at the horizon (maybe some silence; time kind of slows down perhaps) The portal gets bigger and covers the earth. They don’t know what the hell is happening, but Kitana does, so it’s Raiden who’s with great wisdom looks at Kitana’s face expression and figures it out.
Then Shao Kahn appears (much like the Shao Kahn of MK1). Perhaps there’s a little battle… Jax is there too, he somehow got there looking for Sonya…
After a little struggle, the Elder Gods appear and brake down what’s going on. ( I picture three fear like looking Gods like ten times bigger than the Shao Kahn immortal spirit, the body shape made by light, but no real face definition)

[Some intense dialogue between The Gods, Kahn, Raiden and the guys]
Basically the Gods tell what’s going on as well of the rules of MK. Because two or more Earth fighters had agreed to fight, then Shao Kahn has the right of choosing his best fighters from outworld and continue the MK tournament.
Now let’s say that because they are continuing the 10th MK tournament all people on earth has to be like frozen in time, not by Kahn but by the Gods. If Kahn wins then he’ll have control of all Earth souls, and if the god guys win then they’ll restore back, not only Earth but Edenia as well.

So, Liu Kang and Johnny Cage had already agreed to fight. Now, Raiden will fight too, because the Gods had allowed Raiden’s petition to fight in the tournament as a mortal like Shao Kahn. This happened, before the Gods appeared, you know, after he knew what the whole portal thing was all about, he took quick action and kind of thundered in to the air and disappeared to the Heavens. Jax agreed to fight too cause the Gods ask him if he wanted to take Sonya’s place.

Now, because Sonya said no, instead of leaving her on Earth frozen in time like the rest of the world, the Gods allow Kahn to take Sonya captive. This act made Johnny Cage wonder why this was allow if they had no obligation to fight at all. Raiden gave him no real answer.
Now, this and the whole Raiden petition has a big part in the outcome of the story wish involves Raiden’s immortality and powers, Johnny Cage, Sonya, and Shao Kahn.


Liu Kang after understanding the whole conflict turns furious at Kitana and ask her why she has make him do this…
[some intense dialogue between Liu and Kitana…frustration on both sides…]
Kitana tells him that he doesn’t understand what she has gone thru, tells him about her family, her people. Tells him that everything would get back to normal when he kills Kahn, that she believes in his power, that he can finish things for god…but Liu Kang is still furious… …Kitana leaves…then the Shadow Priest appeared again…the portal is open…they go to outworld…lots of ugly looking people in Shao Kahn’s castle and so on…

Another scenario could be that the Gods choose some more Earth fighters, you know, to kind of balance the number of fighters in the tournament competition between the Kahn and Raidens gang. They can choose Sub Zero, maybe Smoke, Nightwolf, Fujin, Stryker…But, I think that there would be too much people in there and we all know what cameos can do...So, I think having just the fighters that were “thereâ€? at the time will do just fine.

Kung Lao I think should be shown like flashback story, you know, Liu Kang thinks he’s the only guy that has beat Shang Tsung, but Raiden (after they all get to their “roomâ€? in the castle) as he’s telling the guys about what Kitana has told him, tells Liu Kang that
Kung Lao defeat and killed Tsung in the the 9th tournament. Then Kitana made Kung Lao fight Shao Kahn in outworld (Kitana did told Kung Lao the consequences of fighting Kahn) but got killed by Kahn after a very closed fight.

Boy…I got this whole story on my head, you know, it came to me since the last time I saw MK1 a couple of months ago, but anyway… Hopefully you understand it.
