Do you all think Kung Lao will definitely be in the next movie? I say he will.
How do you think he should be protrayed?
Who do you think he'll be partnered up with?
How do you think he'll be introduced in the movie?
Do you think he'll be considered a chosen one?
Do you think he'll fight and kill Shang Tsung at the end?
How do you think his outfit should look?
Do you think he'll have long hair?
Who all do you think he should fight in the movie?
Do you think the movie will mention where he was during the first and the second movies?
What kind of personality should he have?
Do you hope he's played by a Chinese martail arts actor?

Those are all the questions I have for now.

He almost killed Shang, then he got killed by Goro. AND THEY ARE TWO DIFFERENT PEOPLE!
Liu Kang is also a descendant of Kung Lao the first.

Since when? In all the bios I've read, I don't recall hearing about Liu being Lao's decedent, except in the movies.

How do you think he should be protrayed?

As a man sought on revenge, a man who won't listen to anyone, a man with a single ajender. REVENGE.

Who do you think he'll be partnered up with?

No one, a loner stuck on revenge for his dead brother.

How do you think he'll be introduced in the movie?

At the beginning when Shang kills Lui, He will come in and attempt to help Lui, Quan Chi will fight Lui and Knock Lao away, then both will kill Lui. Lao will swere revenge.

Do you think he'll be considered a chosen one?

NO.

Do you think he'll fight and kill Shang Tsung at the end?

No but he should do.

How do you think his outfit should look?

Deep black with the custom steel rimmed hat. Usual attire.

Do you think he'll have long hair?

Does he in the games...that should answer it for u

Who all do you think he should fight in the movie?

A small scrap with a hero, a way to seperat the path of him and the main heroes.
One with Monoch, to kill him. and one with Shang tsung/quan chi.

Do you think the movie will mention where he was during the first and the second movies?

No, they like to leave those things out.

What kind of personality should he have?
Black, revenge, deadly

Do you hope he's played by a Chinese martail arts actor?
Asian orgin should be essential, seen as though he's lui kang brother. (supposedly.)

Note i have not played MKDA YET and do not know, nor do want to know the storyline

Yes, not only that he is an important character that should've been in the both the first and the second film. I still wonder why he was ditched in the movies!

How do you think he should be protrayed?

As a shaolin fighting monk with a tough attitude. He may also feel depressed through out the film b/c of Liu Kang's death.

Who do you think he'll be partnered up with?

If the movie is based off MKDA, he'll be aligned with other earth warriors such as Sonya, Jax, Johnny Cage, Kenshi, Cyrax, Frost and Sub-Zero.

How do you think he'll be introduced in the movie?

When they first show him it might actually be Shang Tsung in disguise. When they show the real Kung Lao he might be off making a living where ever he lives.

Do you think he'll be considered a chosen one?

If Liu Kang dies, Kung Lao will be his replacement.

Do you think he'll fight and kill Shang Tsung at the end?

When he finds out it was Shang Tsung who killed Liu Kang, Kung Lao will want to kill Shang.

How do you think his outfit should look?

I think he should look the way he does in his alternate outfit in MKDA.

Do you think he'll have long hair?

I don't mind either way.

Who all do you think he should fight in the movie?

Shang Tsung and some other evil characters.

Do you think the movie will mention where he was during the first and the second movies?

I hope it will.

What kind of personality should he have?

Tough, focused, confident, and fearless.

Do you hope he's played by a Chinese martail arts actor?

Yes. To find somebody suitable for Kung Lao they should probably just go for an unknown Chinese martial artist who can act.

Those are all the questions I have for now.

Well they were good questions

wow there are some wild rumors here guys. Let me suggest something.
Kung lao and lui kang are friends. They have been seen together in the same Earth age you know.
If anything Lui is a descendent of another kung lao who existed a long time ago. Thats just common sense.

They're both decendants of Kung Lao. That doesn't make them brothers. They could be cousins or something...

Anyway I'd like to see Kung Lao portrayed as the loner type who reluctantly accepts help somewhere during the middle or near the end. He's pretty much on this quest to avenge Liu's death and is on the same track that Liu was in the first movie.
