Is MK3 really going to be up to the expectations of fans and even the classic original?

I think this is what the third movie needs to accomplish besides all my other rambling on other threads in the Movies discussion.

But do you really believe that MK3 will not be another rehash of MK:A?
What are your expectations for the third film?
To be a success at the box office so countless sequals are born?
Hounoring the MK franchise?
Just a good action movie?

I just get a bit worries sometimes and i hope the time and effort for this film pays off overall.

I really think that we should force them to make it good and not repeat the mistakes of the two previous.If we could gather people from other sites of MK and friends that are hooked on it maybe we can achieve it.I play MK almost every day since its first realese MK and still playin it, i also have the dragon tatooed on my wrist.What else do they need to realize that this thing rocks all the way ?That there are fans like me and you and many more that breath MK instead of air? Anyway this whole thing gets on my nerves.Hope for the best and cross your fingers :)))

The sad thing is that the fans have no real control over whether it will suck or not. All we can do is hope and pray that Mortal Kombat 3 will not be the final nail in the coffin of the franchise.

I am not expecting much from the third film. It might be a surprise and be really good, or it could be really bad.

A few months ago I had really high expectactions about MK3, but they have since sunk quite deeply. I hope the movie will exceed my expectations greatly.
