They are excellent!

They are RARE, VERY VERY RARE, so if you are a fan of the series and a collector I seriously recommend you to buy them all.

They are the Mk1 storyline (and a bit of Mk2 too) mixed with other un-official things such as the main Mk1 characters quest to find the Tao-Tze-Zang and battle Shang Tsung. You get to see some beautiful Mk art work, good text and fun action.

The main characters that play a role in the Blood and Thunder books are:

Johnny Cage
Rayden
Shang Tsung
Goro (he has a 3 mini comics that are related with the blood and thunder events and have new characters and Mk2 characters)

And in the final book: MK Tournament Edition I you get to see MOST of the Mk2 characters in battle, the ones that appear in the Goro mini series.

Also, not only do you get new storylines but also new characters as well.
