Basically, it 'doesn't end'. The last episode just states that the battles between good and evil will never end, blah blah blah.

It ends with Kahn overthrown by the forces loyal to Kitana and King Jerrod. A rebellion is made and the warriors of light escape the battle of Tsung+Shokans VS Motaro+Nomads.

Kahn is defeated and escapes. Rayden says a new emperor will come, but they had to get the hell out of there! So we never know who won.

Kahn wasn't totally defeated. But since he was the common foe against 2 opposing sides who wanted his chair he escaped and let the battle in his thrown room continue.

Both Kitana and Shang Tsung were both planning to take over Edenia (Edenia is Outworld in the cartoon). Kitana had those rebels backing her while Shang Tsung had the backing of the Shokan race.

I have the Australian version... it's great. A good idea would be to get a region-free DVD player that can play both PAL and NTSC DVD's, and order it from Australia.

You can buy some used VHS tapes through Amazon.com or perhaps on Ebay once in a while. I don't think it came out on DVD in the US, but it did come out on tape. I checked on Amazon, and I noticed a few copies. If no one else gets them, I might on next payday. I only have four of the episodes recorded, since my ex-roomate recorded over the rest.
