But this what I'm really worried about. I hope they pick the RIGHT people for these roles. Linden Ashby was the BEST Johnny Cage and I'm glad that he will probably be in the next MK movie. Sonya.. honestly, Sandra Hess looked more like she should have played in a Jurassic Park movie.

Lynn 'Red' Williams who played Jax was too light (and he had freckles) and needed to be darker. This is how I picture Jax; dark skinned, bigger, and has no freckles lol.

And I read that Stacey Dash was to play as Tanya.

Lynn Red Williams was an alright Jax, but I believe Micheal Jai White (Spawn) would have been a better one. You're talking about dark... the only other dark person I see to play him is Wesley Snipes (Blade). He got every thing accept Jax's height, because the Major was tall. But I don't see Wesley looking right with metal arms, though. But Micheal Jai White would fit the part damn there perfectly.

Speaking of Blade, who remembers the little rug rat that was whoopin' Blade's ass in the middle of the Labrynth filled with pages of the Vampire Bible? That little girl with that infamous left leg digging into Snipes' chest is named Eboni Adams. She would have been a perfect advasary as Jade in the Mortal Kombat Movie.

Marc Dacascos (Brotherhood Of The Wolves, Drive, Only The Strong) can be two characters. He can either be Johnny Cage, or Kung Lao. I believe that old Marc would look straight under Kung Lao's hat, or Johnny's Sun Glasses. And Marc can act out both of their patented attitudes.

Robin Shou should no longer be Liu Kang. Tony Jaa should play that role. For those who don't know who he is, rent the movie "Ong Bak" and you'll see why. Speaking of Robin, do you know he's playing a pirate in an upcoming movie in the making called "DEAD OR ALIVE?" And yes, it is based off the video game hard hitter. And guess who plays Tina Armstrong? JAIMIE PRESLEY!!!! (Ringmaster, Desert Heat and MK Conquest as Mika)

Stephanie Chao (Vampires 4) would make a great Nitara, if that character were to ever be brought to life. As an alternative, if through out the whole movie Nitara never fought, Lynn Whitfield (The Josephine Baker Story, Thin Line Between Love And Hate, Madea's Family Reunion) would be a good one.

I'd perfer Marc to be Kung Lao though. Yes Marc would look so sexy with Kung Lao's hat (IMO) hahaha.

I just want to see some of the non-humanoid characters in the new movie. Kintaro, sheeva, goro, motaro, moloch, etc. They'll most likely take the easy (and cheap)way out & not have them. robin Shou should remain as liu kang. i hate it when they have diff actors for sequels, it makes the movie look cheap. I'm not sure what story they are following, but if they are ignoring the second movie, then any & all of those characters should be in the new one. Hell I'd like to see every mk character from the game appear in the movie. Include Kung Lao!!! and Sector. Why omit certain characters? there's no reason they can't include everyone imo.

I think the undertaker would make a perfect kabal (imagine him with the mask and the hookswords).

Lita being Kira? There was a thread about that already... and the answer was HELL NO!!! But I guess the Undertaker would be a good Kabal... if he doesn't say much throughout the whole movie. But as far as Kira goes, either Jessica Alba or Jessica Beil would make a good Kira.

Quan Chi was always a villain. Speaking of Quan, the guy who played him in MKC, Andoni Maropis, will act him out again in MK Devastation.

Rick Yune (The Fast and the Furious) could play a good Kung Lao or Kenshi. Marc Dacascas could do Lao as well. Tony Jaa as Liu Kang wouldn't be bad but everyone is used to Robin Shou. Michael Jai White as Jax would be perfect. If Chris Lamber can't play raiden again, I suggest David Carridaine. As long as they don't get Uma Thurman to play Sonya, I'll almost take anyone. Clive Owen as Cage....lol j/k.
