Is this movie going to be R or a lame PG-13? That was one thing that ticked me off about the first two movies, they were not true to the game. It needs to be gory and sinister.

NO! It will Be fine if its rated PG 13. Only Perverts Want it R because they want Nudity, which will screw up the movie!furious

I think he was talking about R for violence, not nudity...but yea it would be cool if the movies were a little more gory IMO.

Seems easy, but nothing could be so hard.
Trying to guess life's dealing, what's the next card?
I'm surely folding, I don't like this hand at all.

Yeah I agree, MK: Devastation needs to include more violence. They don't need to go overboard with it though. If they used the blood and gore in the right amount , the movie would be a lot more entertaining. I just always thought that's what the last two movies were missing.

I agree. If they do the right amount of blood and stuff plus still keep the story moving they could pull off the R rating (and then unrated for dvd). wink
But knowing Hollywood they would prob keep it PG-13 so they can "make more money."

It needs to be rated "R" why? because this movie isn't for 10 year olds its for teens and adults if u compare the movies and the games in the games there is blood violince ect and in the movie there's no blood! Ya u just see a dude with a broken neck or something THE MOVIE NEEDS TO BE RATED "R"!

yes, i like gore, but when people hit each other how do u expect to see blood coming out, its just puches and kicks, and if it was rated r, us younger kids (under 18) wont get to see it in theatres, we will have to see it on tape, dvd

big problem. it would be true to the game to be more gory and earn an R-rating, but considering the amount of money they would lose from the younger viewers it would probably be the last mortal kombat movie we would get to see.

Guys, how is the GAME rated? MATURE motherfuckin' 17+. Yes, it's the answer for a movie about said game, and what content it should have.
