Just wondering, what happened to the latest wave of comics that were roughly to coencide with Deadly Alliance?
I was pretty sure www.mortalkombatcomics.com was their website, but I checked a while back, and it was a dead link.
Did they ever come out?
Are they still going?

Yeah, they were... pretty embarassing, even by 90's comics standards.
There was a new series expected around the time of Deadly Alliance featuring the new designs and what not (I'm not asking if this existed), I just want to know if they came out, and how long they lasted.
Info online is scarce.

Could you give me a URL?
I'm a bit out of the loop ,as far as the MK community is concerned.

Thanks, but these are all the old ones, and specifically what I'm not talking about.
New costumes - scheduled to have been released around the time of Deadly Alliance.

Yeah, info is tough to come by.
Which is why I'm posting here. Just to find out if they were ever released.
There was an official website. I think it was mortalkombatcomics.com (do I need to repeat this?), but that's a dead link now.
It definitely existed.
One of the main reasons I remember is because at the time I was thinking about finding out whether or not the MK comics license would be accessable to do my own releases.
That's when I found out about the new official books (via someone from the IRC channel).
So, as I suggested in the first post, I'm just looking for some kind of confirmation of whether or not they ever came out.

I guess I got my times mixed up, but there you go to anyone interested.
This was what I was talking about. It appears as though they are still yet to be released.

Very unfortunate. Do you know what happened?
It's funny, the American Tekken comics didn't make it beyond one issue.
What the hell is going on?!

Yeah, I'm pretty familiar with the business ethic of comic books.
It was more of a rhetorical question.
That said, I'd be surprised if it was a profit issue, here.
I mean... the MK comics didn't even hit the press. There has to be a deeper story, here. You can't tell me some chuckle head just over spent on art supplies for the inker...
