I've been hearing a rumor stating that the first MK movie got an Academy Award. Well, actually, Christopher Lambert got the award, for his portrayal of Raiden, but still, it won an award nonetheless. Is this true? I do not recall seeing anything in the past Oscars about this fact. Not that I don't doubt it, since Mr. Lambert did such a terrific job playing the part (and it's good to have him back for the third installment). It's just that, other than a tiny blurb on the movie's DVD case, I can't find any proof to support this.
