- MOVIE IN POST-PRODUCTION?!!!




MK3
has now entered post-production; Filming is
complete!!

According to the IMDB,
the upcoming MK movie has entered post-production.
For those unaware of that term, post-production
is the addition of special-effects, audio, and
other media after filming is complete.
That's right, according to the IMDB,
FILMING HAS FINISHED! This is a good sign in that
it completely complies with all the MK3 news we've
been recieving from various sources.... Hopefully
some media will soon be released, and an official
release date as well.

UPDATE - The IMDB has removed
a majority of the cast and characters; The only
one's remaining are Robin Shou/Liu Kang, Christopher
Lambert/Rayden, Talisa Soto/Kitana... This does
NOT mean that the other characters won't appear...
It simply means that the IMDB isn't sure on who's
cast to play the other roles.

Well I'm looking forward to MK3 the movie and I hope it will be more like the first MK movie, but with more improvements.

Siiiiiiiiick lets hope IMDB isnt fukin around this time
I think it's doubtful that they would give false info about filming status.

they've done MK: The Movie and MKCq. And because someone screwed up 1 movie, MK:A, they're now dumb?

Well, we're all sure to see the movie anytime soon!! Get your mind ready! And don't forget... when the time comes, you have to thank IDMB (or something like that) for the info!

Actually... MKCq is pretty stupid too (IMO)

But the thing I really want to say is that MK3 is being directed by a different guy than the one who directed MK1. If it was the director of the 1st MK movie, We wouldn't worry...but The fact that the same one who made MKA is making MK3 is sort of shaking us up. So technically...well as far as we know... he screwed up on all of the movies...because He only made one.

Does anyone have an idea of how long the process of "Post-Production" will takeJust a rough estimate?(That is if IMDB is telling the truth)

It really depends on what they intend to do with the movie.

If it is going to be a good movie, then chances are, they will take their time.

If it takes them three weeks or so... get ready for another loaf of shit for a movie.

you're one of the only 2 people I know, who has seen it and doesn't like it. I trust you have seen it.

and the other one found MK:A to be deep and to "at least have some story, unlike MKC," so he doesn't count :p

If you asked me, I would say that they probably don't know what they're doing. Just think about it. There has been virtually no official news coverage on the movie. I hav'nt heared anything about it (besides the rumors--which don't count). Don't you think that's a little strange. This gives me the idea that the producer(s) is unprofessional.

IF THIS IS TRUE, ITS ALREADY SCARING ME!

I want the Mk3 movie!, BUT, its already done?????? I mean, its way to fast already, if the movie is done, in such little time, it would probably suck in effects and such things! I hope all this is not true! I could wait 10+ years for another Mk movie, if that ment for it to be the best!
ONLY FILMING IS DONE, THE EFFECTS HAVE JUST STARTED.

Well...Freddy vs Jason (New Line Cinema) is in Post Production and they already have a trailer for that dont ya think the MK3 movie should have one by now...?
