I was watching the movie the other day and something cought my attention. Sub pops up, then freezes Smoke/Sektor and says to Liu, "three days ago Shao Kahn reprogramed Smoke to kidnap Kitana." mind you the "merger" had just begun a couple of hours ago at most. how elsewould kahn get a hold of smoke/sektor and reprogram him?

To tell the truth, he sent the fantastical hacker Baraka out in a covert mission to capture a sentient human wrapped to cables in one of the most remote and secret assassin organization bases in the world and have him enter one suprisingly complex and twisted computer command:

format c

after this Baraka using stealth escaped back to Outworld, having the Outworld royalties to eagerly await the constantly maintained cyborg to turn on Kitana, whos appearance or any significant detail about her was of co-urse, unaccessible for the cyborg. let alone know where Outworld is.

Another fact. Kitana and Liu trawelled to a place what is suposedly the center of Earth (or the underground networks conneccting earth with Outworld) with, let's say, 100 miles per hour. How in the bloody hell could Sub-Zero go there so fast? let alone again, knowing that Kitana and Liu will be at the same time there.

This would require Sub-Zero to have extensive information about Smokes and his asasssins, and Lius/Kitanas whereabouts. How logical.

I can't see Baraka being stealthy with a head that big. Other than that, everything works out just fine. Sub-Zero has a Kawasaki motorcycle able to go at 200MPH! He's that cool. So he just cruised his way to the centre of the earth or whatever, chased down Smoke. On his way, he did have to fight off monkeys in diapers, but other than that, the journey was just peachy.

On a more serious note, when Sub-Zero says that line, it's suppose to indicate that it's been infact, three days since the beginning of the movie. I guess Liu and Kitana fed off earth worms and drank lava to survive.
What I want to know is how they get Smoke and Cyrax to fight for Shao Khan because last time I checked according to the game's storyline they were frome earthrealm. I see how Scorpion and Sub-Zero was fighting for Shang Tsung in the first one because Shang did say they were slaves under his power. Another thing I do not get is how the legend of Sindel and Kititana was spreaded so fast it was almost right after Johnny was killed that we found out about the legend. The fighting was good, but, the plot just flat out took Sub-Zero's Deep Freeze followed by Scorps Toasty. And personally they killed Johnny to early because I don't think Raiden was dumb enough to let Shao Khan's gennrals go with out getting Johnny back. They should have waited. Had Sonya chew Johnny out after they made their retreat saying something like "I thought I told you don't try to protect me Johnny Cage!" and "If you ever do something that stupid again I'll kill you." Then when they have the scene where Jax and Cyrax show up do something like having Cyrax shoot what ever he shot at that one memeber of the extermantion squad at Sonya and had Johnny either push her out of the way or jump in front of her taking the hit in both senarios because we all know what would have happenend with Sonya. She would have gotten pissed off killed Cyrax and when her and Jax got out she would break out in angry tears saying "Damn you, Johnny Cage! I told you not to protect me! Why did you have to protect me?" and end the scene with Jax holding her with her crying on his bionic shoulder. Call me a hopeless romantic but for me that would have made the movie just a little bit better.
