You know what's semi-disturbing? As I saw the scene you were talking about, I knew exactly which part of the movie it was from Which means I've watched MKA too many times...

Anyways, it's just before the final battle scenes. I think it's Kahn shooting the fireball that knocks Raiden off the steps all the way down to the ground, and then he dies.

I remember when this ad came on TV in 1997, and thinking Annihilation was gonna be a good movie. This just reminds me how badly they tricked us...

that movie preview really makes the movie look like it was going to be so good, I had to laugh because watching it I was saying that looks awesome but at the same time I was saying the movie turned out so bad

I really liked the movie too...psh I didn't think it was bad!

I thought MK:A was watchable, but it lacked the witty script of the first film, had way too many characters who appeared briefly and contributed nothing to the plot and making Shao Kahn merely working for his dad made him look a bit weak. And why kill Johnny Cage in the opening few minutes?!
