MK movies/TV shows time line:

MK Conquest --(500 years, or if you take that "every generation" bullcrap: 9 generations)--> MK the movie -(minutes?)--> MK Annihilation (but just don't give a damn about this movie, it's plain crap)

The ending of MKC is uncomplete, as it was canceled prematurelly. You must know that as actual non filmed episodes, all the good guys are resurrected by the elder gods, and Shao Kahn is repelled from the Earthrealm. In the next MK tournament (50 years later), Kung Lao dies at the hands of Goro.

absolutely not true..or not proved yet.
the episode "resurrection" actually does not exists.
IMDB.com refers it as a never filmed episode, but later it was corrected, and if i'm not wrong there's no sign of resurrection in IMDB.
IMDB is not a reliable site(like wikipedia).
resurrection is just a rumor

the only sensed thin is to make a second season of conquest and tie it with mk 1 movie.

however conquest is a prequel to the first movie, and liu kang is never showed during conquest, even tough you can sse some recycling footage of him taken from annihiliation when he is transforming into a dragon.

Hum???

Dude, i was absolutely convinced that they had wirtten down some episodes of the second season, and among them, "Ressurection" was ready to shoot. I think i've read it on the series official site (Right here), or some forum...

I guess you learn something new everyday, huh?
Anyway, thinking correctly, IF the series had continued, at least Kung Lao had to be ressurected, and Shao Kahn HAD to be repeled from Earthrealm. If it was to be according to the main MK storyline, it should be like that, in order to Kung Lao to participate in the next MK tournament and be defeated and killed by prince Goro.

That's not the official site, the official site has been dead for years.

And I can't believe this thread starter was serious.

MKC was originally meant to be a prequel to the Movies. But after the way it ended its not anymore. The show is its own seperate series. Had the show been going on it would have Kunglao, the heroes, Shang and Reptile would have came back

Actually, many Reptiles appear during the series.
Most of them are simply Zaterreans, but named "Reptile" by everyone.

There was a Reptile serving Shao Kahn (wich could be the one of the games), that later betrayed him. He appeared in both Ninja uniform, and so humanoid form, and in cgi reptilian form. Many Reptiles in the series appeared in both ways.

Nightcrow, thanks for the info cause I missed alot of the episodes when it was on TNT and this is a reason why we need the MKC season on DVD with extras if that is possible.

Its cool though cause hopefully i can find it on youtube somewhere but again thanks for letting me know buddy.

You're welcome, wink.

I've searched everywhere for MKC video extras, like behind the scenes, video interviews, coreography training.. and i've never found anything. Anything at all. Just some written interviews, and some behind the scenes pictures, but as for the video stuff, not a thing.sad

as zentile said the link you provided it's not the official site, but just a fan site(which is better).
i'm also a member there.
however "resurrection" does not exist.
in the canonical storyline Kung lao is killed by Goro, but conquest(and the entire mk movie universe) is not canonical.
so i don't see why kung lao MUST be killed by Goro.Conquest ended there.
maybe a new tv series will born, until then conquest is dead.sad

I would really love to read or watch any kind of interview with Ed Boon, or John Tobias related to Mortal Kombat Conquest. I've heard them talking about the first MK movie, and saying that at the time they were really happy with the movie's success... but i never had the pleasure of knowing what Boon or the other guys in the team thought about MKC.
