I think if they go heavy on the specials it will turn out more like MKA, which I don't think anyone wants...

Personaly I liked seeing the limited amount of specials we saw in MK1, because humans obviously can't throw fireballs etc. I know it's based of a game, but still - in MK1 we saw Cage's shadow kick combined with Scorpion's teleport in a very creative way, Liu Kang used his fireball as the final blow to Shang Tsung, and Sonya only used the one special that is actualy doable in the leg grab takedown.

The specials were left to the mystical fighter's, and even then only Sub Zero and Scorpion didn't use them sparingly ... Reptile just owned with sheer martial arts skill...which imo is the best direction for MK3. Lots of specials will probably mean lots of special effects in the general fighting, which although will likely look great, wont give the reaction () that fights such as Reptile vs Liu Kang did in MK1.

But seeing as how the makers of the movie said scenes will be better than the matrix, I'm guessing you wish might come true...

No, special Moves were good Enough in the Movies. I think its Fatalitys people want more, but then the Movie might be rated R. Then when its rated R, people might want Sexaul Content in which will screw up the Movie. So nothing like special moves needs to be added to the Next Movie.

Yeah, special moves have to be tonned down some for movies. I think they did johnny Cage's shadow kick and Lui's fire ball very well in MK1. Keep the original in mind, only use special effects and special moves where they are needed and don't go overboard.

iF Ermac is in MK3, I def wanna see him use telekinesis extensively.
