Mortal Kombat was based on Mortal Kombat 1, with slight ellusions to Mortal Kombat 2.

Mortal Kombat Anihilation was based on MK Trilogy, with slight ellusions to MK 4.

What do you think MK3 will be based on? Deadly alliance with slight ellusions to MKD?

Could be based on MK4 with some deadly alliance elements. The ending could have the dragon king appearing or something like that.

It'll probably be a very loosely based off 4 and DA.

Maybe starting with Quan Chi helping Shinnok, but half way through he betrays Shinnok and it is reveiled that he was in league with Shang Tsung the whole time.

That;s just my theory though.

MK4 or MKDA. I heard from somewhere that Quan Chi will be in the story but, im not certain.

i'm guessin deadly alliance leanin towards deception since shinnok, the boss of mk4 died but then again he didn't have nethin 2 do with shao kahn in the games so far so i wouldn't make 2 many comparisons, the games r 2 complex
