posted03/12/2004 02:25 PM (UTC)byI was looking on the Mortal Kombat Revolution site for MK3 News and I found something awesome that I'm not sure if ya'll have seen yet so here it is.
"The MK Center has conducted an interview with Chris Casamassa, who played Scorpion in the first film and MK Conquest. One of the most interesting things revealed in the interview was that he was going to reprise his role for the upcoming film. He stated that it will be filmed this year, and will be released in threaters next year. With the release of the upcoming video game, expect new info on the film to appear shortly."
YAY!!

I think this movie production is getting a little too far. People have become overly excited and I think everyone should calm down. I have been searching so many places besides an MK fan site and I have yet to come to some news of this movie. For me I won't trust anyone who displays new information. I think the best idea is to just wait or visit places like "Rotten Tomates" - www.rottentomatoes.com because they have an accurate list of what movies that should (will) be coming out in the future up to year 2006. MK3 is not one of those that will be out. If wanting any exact words, it'd be contacting Boon. All of these recent "exposure" to some MK script has been from months ago. I prefer reading something that is recent, lets say months in 2004. And even if the directors, writers, etc. want the scripts to be confedential, that's fine but that doesn't mean the release date won't be allowed to appear on a list of expected movie releases, otherwise there really isn't a movie in the works. Sorry to say but people shouldn't overreact to somthing that hasn't been officially announced. My advice is to just petition for the movie, not speculate.

It's really not too much work to SCROLL DOWN a couple of centimeters.
Seriously, whatever MK3 news you find, don't post it here. Because whatever it is, it's either bullshit or old news (The Unofficial MK3 movie site always makes sure we get the info asap). Thank you.
