Where on there is it reported that ,that is true and if so why didnt it show up on mk5.org maine page?If that was true i think it would be on mortalkombat.com or other movie websites....but ihavent been able to find it on your site either so thats why i am wondering.

MK Online's priority is MK: Deception and not little tidbits of information about the movie. I just barely notified the official MKO chat of this news, so I found out before them. I don't even know the officials at MKO know about this yet.

mortalkombat.com hasn't been updated for over three years. Why expect updates from them now? This isn't an official announcement, just some news from an actor of the movie.

This information is true-- MK Center is a very trustworthy source of news.

It's not an OFFICIAL announcement, thus it won't be on Midway, Threshold or MK.com's site. Do the Lord of the Rings' official site announce when one of its cast members does an interview? No. Because interviews are situated by the cast member (or their publicist) and what they say is up to them. It was one of the actors providing speculation on the movie, that is all. And if it comes from one of the actor's of the movie, then I'd be pretty damned if it wasn't true.

Whether you believe this or not is not my problem; your insecurities over the Internet should be left to your own world and kept out of ours. We're happy about any news we get about MK3, so you can just quietly sit down and keep any future comments to yourself.

Who are you to state what i can or cant say online?I just dont think you should post something when it isnt offical and no one has offically said it yet?There is something called freedom of speech and i think you should seriously have looked into that before being part of any online network or website or even message boards online or ourside of the internet.So maybe you should keep things to yourself until it has been offically said.....but this is just me and i think you should grow up before you talk about ppl like that,also I think mk5.org should seriously look into ppl they let be apart of their network before it happens,cause you shouldnt hire or parter up with someone who cant take anything other ppl say without blowing up and lashing out......maybe you need to see a shrink?

Second, do not judge character based on magazine interviews. Character is best judged by actually knowing a person, and seeing as how there are very few people in this forum that have met Mr. Boon, then I would say we are best not judging. Besides, he's given back to this community several times ... so thread closed.

What the hell? This should not be in General Discussiom. It's MK3 movie news, it belongs in the MK Movies forum.

I'm not 'lashing out', I'm simply stating the fact that an interview is NOT going to be officially announced over twelve different sites. Threshold will want to announce dates when they feel like it. When an actor does it, it's pure speculation and thus does not need official authority in order to be said.

If this topic gets closed, in which is won't, it will because of your inane illogical tangents that I can barely make out because of poor spelling and grammar. You've met Ed Boon, awesome... great! This doesn't give you the right to shoot down everything that is said here.

I've met Mr. Boon, but what I'm about to say is just as true even if I hadn't.

- MK Center is a trustworthy site, Bodzio (the webmaster) is a friend of mine
- MK Online's focus is on MK Deception and the Classic games being re-released
- Shinnokxz is doing an incredible job of covering the MK3 movie, that's why MK Online officially sanctions Shinnokxz's MK3 movie site: http://mk3movie.mortalkombatonline.com
- Incidentally, MKO's primary focus being on the games is also why we created a movie/media discussion forum. This is exactly where MK3 movie news belongs.
- No more flaming about this, Casamassa says they will start filming at the end of 2004 and it's not really something that should start a flame war.

Just him saying that they will start filming is a pretty good indication that it will be filmed sooner rather then later. And I thank Shinnkoxz on his work on providing us with information about this movie. Thanks man Keep it up.
