My advice is to just keep searching eBay and Amazon. When I decided to try and find the MK Deception comic I used to check ebay every week or so, for months. Finally one came up and I bought it instantly. I haven't seen another go up since.

I know I've seen the MK4 comic on eBay much more often than that.

Just have to be vigilant.

I have the comic in mint condition. Never been read. Of course I took it out of the MK4 PC game box but I've never read it yet. Not too interested in selling it just yet. Search hard at your local comic book stores too. My friend found a decent used copy at a local comic store.

Ppl asking insane $$ for this smal comic book. It ́s not worth a fifty $. I recently bought the original MK1 comic book, and it ́s maybe 11 pages long. Crazy prices now days lol

Y' know It's funny because all people who sells the comic put cover and back cover pictures. Nobody put a inside page with the art or something more. Good luck, I want the Mortal Kombat comics too but it would be very hard and expensive to get it.

I found the MK 4 Brazilian comics to believe even worse... But more interesting at the same time.

However, a little bit of infos on the comics:


The comics were released in 1998, to celebrate the home version (PC, PSX, N64) launch of MK4.
It had a special bundle featuring all the 4 books into an hardcover one; it was also available in four parts.

It seems that it wasn't released outside of Brazil, not even Portugal or other portuguese speaking countries had it, if not by import.

it was a limited release.

The Story is not canon, of course.

it is NOT official. Midway gave the publishing house the permission to make and sell the comics having paid the copyrights, but the comic book itself it's not considered official (pretty much like the Malibù comics).
