MKA was MK3, UMK3, and MKT.

Nobody know what MKD is going to be, but they say Quan Chi is going to be the villain. My guess is that it will be based on Deadly Alliance.

It's going to be really fucked up though.

1. It skips completely over MK4 - MKG.
2. Shinnok was already killed.
3. Shang Tsung will not be in it. Therefore completely ruining the whole storyline.
4. Liu Kang is not going to die, according to the writers.

It's going to take some amazing writing to get out of this mess.

Well, all I can do is laugh at their mistakes.

.....honestly these moovies will be bad if they dont fix there mistakes and BTW Ninja-Mime MK Annihilation was NOT MK:T for one Kintaro wasn't there 2 sektor wasnt there 3 Human smoke wasnt there 4 Kabal wasnt there 5 stryker wasnt there (Yes im aware they were mensioned) and it wasnt trilogy also because they had an MK 4 character there Shinnok which btw looked Nothing like Shinnok and Reptile wasnt on it those 3 things were called "RAPTORS" in the credits all im saying is it was MK3 and Possibly UMK3 but it definitly wasnt trilogy. also "KIBITIBITIKIBWOOW!" Thats the screwed up MK4 scream i would have also "AAAAHHHTHISGAMEISSUBLIMITAL!"

MK3, UMK3, MKT, all shared the same storyline. Just because some characters weren't in it doesn't mean it wasn't based on the game.

I think that the only thing they can do to make the movie make complete sense would be to remake Annihilation, but that will never happen.
