I was wondering about how they were going to make the movie & then I finally thought about it & I think they might have a new Kitana but chances are they might get the original but you know HollyWood.

My God, I hope MK3 never gets released, but if they do, they need an actress with more emotion than Talisa Soto. sleep

Talisa Soto is far too old to play Kitana and she is a crappy actress on the other hand. Then again, when was MK about acting?

She won't give a shit about how many people think her as a good Kitana, he is too old, and won't do anything action based in this age, especially after birth. Talisa Soto is OUT with a high probability.

Besides, she was mediocre to say at least. Just what Kitana was from MK, all flash, nothing inside.

They just need to give Kitana more to do in the films.

Talisa Soto is a good actress IMO, but in the two Mk films she didnt get to show this. I mean, most of the time, she just stood around, and was missing for a good part of the second. I always kinda seen Kitana as a wise person who wouldnt do much talking, kinda like she is portrayed in Defender of the Realms, but with a non-serious side too. They need to balance it out more.

Perhaps Talisa Soto is a bit old to play Kitana, but I'd like her to do it purely cause I hate when they change actresses/actors in sequels. (I mean, look at the nightmare that was Sadra Hess.

bring on the Kitana vs Mileena fight, PLEASE!!!!

I say they need to get Dara Tomovitch(who played Kitana in MKC Episode,The Essence)She nailed the role of Kitana,But they had to go and replace her with Audie England(who played the role fore the rest of the season)

While I really like Talisa Soto, her role as Kitana in the movies was mediocre and absolutely useless. She was like one of those extra characters you really don’t need unless they do something, and you get tired of seeing her just standing there and acting wise.

I liked Kitana in the first film, don’t get me wrong, I thought Talisa did a good job portraying the wise-mysterious princess thing, but when you actually compare her to the rest of the main cast...she was just plain boring, no emotions, still, I liked her.

She was horrible in the second film, there was absolutely nothing positive about her character (ONLY the steel fans part, I love that scene so much), maybe its because of the dialogue, but the love parts where corny and bad acted (with Liu and Sindel), and she did absolutely nothing in the entire film, only in the end she fought with Sindel, and I hate to admit it, but that was one of the worst Mk film fights ever.

I really think they should get a new actress, if Talisa is back, she should have some serious fighting training lessons and better acting to (for Mk, in other films she was brilliant).
