Who'd be the perfect guy or girl to direct the new MK movie besides Kevin?

I don't want this story to end up a real killing spree but a war with magic of light or dark.

If there's one director I choose, its Len Wiseman!

I had originally wanted Zack Snyder to step up to the job. After seeing Watchmen and how he handled an ensemble of powerful heroes and villains fighting one another in a very dark story, I thought he would've been perfect. I know some would disagree, but his visual style truly does lend a lot to the supernatural world of MK.

We know Kevin T is a huge MK fan, but let's hope he doesn't let it get to his head. MK Legacy was one of the best live action adaptations with only some liberties taken with the story, but the rumors of the story being "modernized" for the new film has me worried... while Rebirth was "intriguing" with its new twist on the story, I don't want to see a feature film based on that storyline.

Hell, comic book films don't seem to drift off so drastically from their sources these days, why should this film? I've had so many ideas, from a visual standpoint, of what could be done, but of course, I'd probably never have the chance as a director. The fight between Hanzo Hasashi and Bi Han would be epic, and probably even the final fight of the film. As we know the fight between Liu Kang and Shang Tsung would have to be more of a cliffhanger, we need a more "final" battle, and seeing the birth of Noob Saibot via Scorpion would be a great one, in my opinion.

But if Len Wiseman did MK, he'd make two movies go

1: Tournament movie (MK1-MK2 + Nightwolf & Fujin)
2: Invasion movie (MK3 + Kenshi & several MK4)

Have given it some thought, I reckon Zac Snyder would've been a good choice. IMO, he's one of the few great action directors - say what you will about his writing abilities, but the man knows how to shoot fantastic fights and stunt sequences. His eye candy visual style and genuinely fantastic use of visual FX, green screen, etc. would be perfect for a visually faithful adaptation of "MK." I reckon he'd be able to bring the video game look to a live action movie without it looking cheap or cosplay-esque. Plus, he tends to do films that are a fair length (to my knowledge, anyway) so chances are it wouldn't end up a 90 minute rush job.
