First, how long have you had your PS2? Acutaly more importantly, how long have you been playing DVD's on your PS2? Cus ever since I got mine in 2001, if you try to watch a movie thats not PG or under, you have to enter a password/code that YOU create when u set up your PS2, then every time the message comes up, u enter the code then your set! If u didn't set up the PS2 just go into your settings menu, and I believe you can configure the password - I've never had to do it so I'm not sure.
The only problem I see with that - If the code is there for discression (sp?) against porn, violence, swearing etc. well if u can config the password then couldn't any kid who is prevented from watching a dvd, couldln't change it themselves and still watch?? - so I may be wrong about being to config the code once its been set - can someone clarfy?
