Thanks, didnt know where that was exactly.
Now, i'm guessing they won't have every character from the game, and to me it looks like we got Sonya as the main protagonist. Along with Jax, Stryker, Kano, and Cyrax, it sounds like MKSF2 (except for scorp and sub, who have to be in everything now)
So my thing is, why Quan Chi? How much are they actually packing in these episodes? Aren't they just 30 mins?

The press releases suggested that the webisodes are all about expositing character backstory. Think of them as mini-prequels to a future movie. Quan Chi figures prominently into Scorpion's and Sub-Zero's backstories.

They are shooting several episodes each of which is about different character, the episodes won't be connected.Quan Chi probably gonna be in the episode with Scorpion and/or Sub-Zero,I don't think he is in Sonya/Kano one. EDIT: As Razor already mentioned

I figured Quan would have to do with them, but didnt know how they would blend in with the rest of the cast.

Well, the phrase about "Quan Chi in the mountains" made me think about MK Mythologies.Do you think they will show us something from the plot of that game?

Huh? I recall them saying each episode is only 7 minutes.Noobsmoke92 Wrote:

Yeah, pretty much.
With the limited time that these webisodes have, and not many episodes that they're making, having a wide array of characters would be a bit complicated to pull off.
I mean, having Quan, Cyrax, Sindel, and Sonya all in one mini-series is great, but could they really make something that blends them all together?
Especially if this is a prequel, so they wouldn't be telling the WHOLE story like MK9 is.
Plus, back story sounds a lot better IMO
