Rain, noob saibot, sub zero, and scorpion

In the second mk movie[ yes we're trying not to screw this up] they included rain, noob saibot, Sub zero's younger brother, and scorpion, besides three different reptiles. We can't tell which one is Saibot and which is Rain. Little help please.
Here's the real question; Scorpion and Sub appear in one scene. Why??
Maybe if was just to have them, but where do they go? Scorpion kidnaps Kitana after fighting Sub and disapears. Sub says he'll help them and he disappears. Why do these characters just disapear and what's up with Scorp's twin headed dragon spear?
I guess they just had two many characters. What do you people think? This has been asked before hasn't it. Oh well an old question for a new auddience.

The movie is bad. It's been said already.
I think it's pretty obvious who is Rain and who is Noob Saibot.
