I think the original MK stacks up really well against all the other blockbuster movies that are being made.

MK was a tornament for the greatest fighters in the world. It is just a great film in its own right, even if you are not an MK fan, random people can still enjoy it i think.
i give it 9 out of ten.

Altough i'm a real mk fan, i must say that it could never compete with movies like Aliens, Gladiator, LOTR or the original Star Wars Trilogy

yeah u're right. MK is like brainless fun, pretty much people beating the sh*t out of eachother. heck i watch that kind of stuff a lot and i'm always looking for MK clips and stuff. MK is a good movie, but not one of the best. let's see what that third turns out like.
