Everyone should post what their thoughts were:

The first movie was excellent; what I loved most about it was its dark and forbodeding atmosphere. Mortal Kombat Annihilation was quite the opposite, the transaction in between scenes was done poorly and a proper mood could never be set.

Nix the bad actors that were in MKA (Shao, Jade), cut the crummy CG that was in MKA (the first movies's CG was better and wasn't so overdone, added immensely to the atmosphere).

I suggest bringing back the actors from the first, this will appeal more to the fans who loved the first but hated the second. It will fill more seats.

now I'm going to say, I don't believe the text up there. For one, the mail address has been in the contact list for ages. For two, the guy who put it there, was too lazy to take kare of the forums. Odds are, he found it more convinient to himself. Third, it asks for ideas, if I remember right. Well, a much more relyable TTC worker said, the script was done.

That was a while ago... Perhaps they are making a new script more faithful to MK Deadly Alliance? Remember, when a movie is at this stage, a lot of things are subject to change.

anything is possible, but they would be idiots to change the whole script.

Cause that site blows, and i heard that two guys from a movie review site are penning this movie, so this all makes sense to me, and i will not help them ruin the movie again, i feel if they put out a KICK ASS GAME and a KICK ASS MOVIE at the same time, the MK frenzy could easily return....granted the game sold well, but it does not have that mystery it used to have (mk2)...
