I think these two points are important:
* No one from Netherrealm or WB has ever spoken to us about making Khrome an official character in a game, and they wouldn’t need to.
* Khrome was not a fan creation. We are licensing partners.

From what I heard, for Khrome, Hinpar/Outworld is the past and Chaosrealm is the future.
