I Still think Keanu Reeves should act as Kenshi
I think they look very same.He pulled Neo part off very good with he's eyes sealed in a red scarf or something

Keanu Reeves is a good pick to play Kenshi too but I think he will demand a high price to play the blind warrior.

I say get the Highlander Adrian Paul to play Kenshi since he already has the sword experience and (believe it or not) he does know some martial arts....

I think the person that shud play Kenshi is TOM WELLING from smallville, he looks just like him, plus hes a really good actor and i think he wud play the part really well!! Tom Welling is a perfect choice and he is probably able to do it.....i think they shud make the cast more diverse

Tom welling is probably not the best choise, because he looks nothing like him. he is a little bit young looking, had a rounder face than kenshi and generally doesnt quite fit. k reeves on the other hand would be perfect but i agree with the demand he might make if the film wanted him to star in it. on the other hand he has done alot of low budget films so you never know. the highlander guy does sound likea great choice as well. similar body longish face, swords experience.

Believe this or not but it a but on the channel e Keanu was asked about playing a part in MK3 as Kenshi and reported that he likes mortal kombat but no one has asked him yet but he did say that if he had a chance he would like to play as him since he has play mkda on his xbox before.He said that fans of mk and the matrix made comments about him in the 3rd matrix of how they looked alike.Not saying he is the one to play has him but he has mentioned it that he would like to play the part in the 3 mortal kombat movie.

Whoa! hold on just a sec...it shouldn't matter what the actor who's gonna play Kenshi in the next movie has done or did...as long as he looks the part, can act, and knows martial arts. And for that matter, I would nominate Jason David Frank (Tommy the White/Green Ranger). The guy has supreme acting skills if you would watch not only power rangers, but he's appeared on MTV's "Undressed", and action films like Tony Stewart's "The Fall Guy". This guy has been born and bread on martial arts and with his new haircut he looks just like Kenshi. But you are all right...I would like to see Keanu Reeves also but I doubt he'd take the job.

I think maybe some would say that...but then again just because someone does a different genre doesn't mean its gonna be like the genre the actor came from. I think today's audience is smart enough to know that Mortal Kombat 3 will keep its story intact and not become some parody of Power Rangers. If the movie has a rated R rating then they will know. But if Jason David Frank does show up in the preview he'll have the blindfold on so most likely no one will even recognize its him til they go and see the movie.

i dunno about the power ranger guy,i dont think that he would potray kenshi that well.Not saying keanu would either but we were tring to get away from the entire power ranger stuff from the last one and now you guys want a person that was on power rangers,i dunno sounds like some ppl on here must have liked mka.But if he does it i hope he does a great job doing the part,(crosses my fingers for keanu still)

I get where you're coming from and I see how you would think that because it kinda hit me like that too...at first...but just b/c if Jason David Frank became Kenshi doesn't mean the writers are gonna go loco and say...oh ok since he's Kenshi we gotta make this like power rangers...c'mon that's not gonna happen. Watch the movie "The Fall Guy" and you'll see that its nothing like power rangers.

...but then you gotta think about all the factors that make Kenshi. On MK:DA kenshi is rather slender, dark haired, and has a slender long head. Jason David Frank's appearance is rather similar and to prove it here's the website with a pic and some info:

...and if you read the information...you can see he's done a whole lot more than just power rangers. Also, the guy can act. Also in MK:DA Kenshi's alignment with characters is unknown...no one knows whether he is for good or evil...but in his game ending he kills Shang Tsung..so you can imagine that the producers of the movie will make him towards more of the good side. Ok...this is Jason David Frank's specialty...playing the good guy and also playing the mysterious villain. It's a great fit to me. And Kenshi's weapon is a katana, which he has more than enough skill in, knowing he's a fifth degree black belt. He's just a great fit for the part overall I think...he won't ask for too much money and won't worry about starring, has a great attitude, and could make Kenshi's story come together

I don't know but I'm sure he could learn a decent fight sequence in time for the movie. I heard that he does study martial arts...and as much as i'd hate to admit it...his acting skills outperform Jason David Frank's by a bit. I think that Keanu Reeves would be my first choice for Kenshi, then Jason David Frank, and then here's one I never thought about til last night...Ben Affleck...WAIT!!!! before you start thinking I'm crazy..think it through a little bit...he's had a minimun amount of martial arts experience and he's already played a blind guy before in daredevil. your thoughts?

I kno that...it would be almost impossible for anyone to do it blindfolded, but I'm saying he's got the feel for it already...some people try to play the part of blind people and don't do good at performing the reactions and the ways a blind person would walk, talk, hear...all that kinda stuff. But since Ben has already PLAYED a blind person, I'm just saying he would already have a little more experience.
