Chris Canamassa (the actor who played Scorpion in MK1) was on the radio today on 97.1. I didn't hear the whole thing sence I turned it on half way through the interview. he discussed his background on Martial Arts, how much he loved the Matrix Movies, all the things that went on in making MK the movie. etc. He mentioned that hes set to start filming the new MK movie in June. he said that all the money and production thats going into the new MK movie is going to make the Matrix trilogy look like an old Black and White Movie. he said they are really working hard on making the new MK movie a big budget blockbuster. it was a really awesome interview.

he plugg his website..http://www.chriscasamassa.com/. you could read more about the up-coming Mortal Kombat movie on his offical website.

Wow, I guess Threshold was dead serious when they said they want to re-invent the MK franchise. Thanks for the heads up.

It's about time, though. I've been dying to finally see a MK movie that ranks up there in terms of effects and overall construction.

That is so awesome, I cannot wait until they start filming it. Chris said they are trying hard to make it a big budget blockbuster..and he said he loved the Matrix movies..so i have a feeling that this movie will have some sort of slow motion scenes in the movie...
