Personaly i think that the brotha represented jax to the max in annihilation.
Not only that but being one of my only favorites from the whole film! He held his own to the end.

Anywho whatch yall think about the man.

He was good. The only thing I hated was they could have made the arms better.

He looked ok, he acted like shit. He played a hood-rat in stead of a major, no tactical instincts what so ever, very very poor.

He did a whole lot better job than almost anyone else in the movie....of course that's really saying much. *sigh*

Personally, I feel they ruined Jax by making him the comic relief. They should have kept Johnny Cage alive instead and taken Jax a little more seriously.

no way his street attitude was way better than what a serious military type would've bin, he wasn't portrayed properly in fact he's the complete opposite of the jax in the games, but for the film he was brilliant, one of the few good things to come out of the film. grin

None of that movie is good. The acting is horrible. The only good actor who still acted pretty bad was the guy who played Shao Kahn.

I think it was just the lines that were given to him that ruined Jax... I thought Williams had the right presence, he was just given the wrong lines.

the guy who played shao kahn was crap and ruined the idea of the shao kahn from the games, he looked so big and powerful at the end of the 1st mortal kombat film, but in the second cowarded from his father, which was crap, in the games shao kahn would've kicked the crap out of shinnok

While I did not like the Jax character per se, I do think that Red knew what he was doing. I think he was the best actor in the whole damn thing.

First of,the acting on everyone's part was awful. As for jax...they took a respectable soldier and turned him into a loud mouth. He didn't look like he had an ounce of disiciple in him.It was sad that they turned him into jackass. And his jokes weren't funny.Just another reason the movie was a disaster

a respectable soldier would've been bad in MKA, trying to order everyone around and control the situation when in the film he hasn't got a clue what's going on or who shao kahn is.

Jax was definitely respectable in my point of view and you say he was a loud-mouth?...my uncle is in the army and I can tell you from experience that all soldiers aren't just serious, ready-to-fight, laugh at nothing guys. They're just like normal people and Jax looked kind of young, so you'd expect him to be a little immature and jokinly at times, but Lynn 'Red' Williams portrayed Jax great, but thats on the excuse that you can't compare him to somebody else. Like If I were to say the Sonya from the first movie was better than the Sonya in the second. I'm comparing two actors and you can't do that with him, because that was his movie debut and you probably won't see another person play Jax in a mortal kombat movie anytime soon anyways.

The Jax in the first movie looked a bit too old to play the persona of Jax to me...but Williams gave the movie a little comic relief that was missing, mainly because Johnny Cage died early in the movie.
