i would be a good guess,the plot would be interesting and Sub Zero as lead role does put thing into perspective who knows though Robin Shou could be making this up just to get some attention when the director comes out and addresses us then i'll believe it but for now anything's possible

If they made a movie based on sub-zero .. they should make a movie based on scorpion as well.

this movie is not a prequel, this movie is not a sequel, this movie is nothing right now, there is no confirmed information from any source, the crew of MK3 (Threshold) have not posted any info whatsoever except that they are working on it, nothing is confirmed. Shinnokxx site is very credible, but confirmation hasn't happened yet on anything, so dont worry man, this movie could be anything, but there is nothing confirming its a prequel about Sub Zero yet.

We have already heard the story of sub zero thousands od times,why the hell would they waste time making a movie?
