As a big fan of the Tigrar Shokan, I've been greatly anticipating the release of this figure, and like many was bummed when Midway pulled the plug on their alliance with Jazwares before their version of MK:SM Kintaro was released (I heard that they had it all ready to go before the line was canceled, and the figure would've been flocked to give it a more tiger-like feel to it). However, since Jazwares recently released the Goro's Lair playset with 5-inch Goro figure, and given Kintaro's increased importance in MK9, as well as the last interview I've seen on here with a Jazwares employee saying that we will see one, what do you think are the chances of us ever seeing Kintaro's figure actually being released?

Personally, I'm hopeful, especially considering they've recently released figures that were in development hell for a while for their Sonic the Hedgehog line (mainly Rouge the Bat, Charmy Bee, and especially Blaze the Cat), so it's clear that, as long as the line doesn't go away like before, there's always a chance that it'll show up, eventually. My only concern is that the line WILL go away, now that everyone's gone to Injustice, and there's been no announcement for MK10, yet (though the buzz over the MK Legacy series and the upcoming MK reboot movie could still keep the line afloat). Anyone have any insight into what the status of the toy line is, that could shed some light on whether or not the figure will actually, finally be released?
