There is a lot of mythology and interesting story/character development in the MK universe, and the more I read on the storyline and razorsedge's comments, the more I think that there needs to be a (canon) series based on it starting from MK1 to MKD, because a movie is just not enough... Who else thinks this would be a good watch?

If there is, I would like something that's animated by a japanese studio. Not necessarily anime, just a place that knows how to properly do action in cartoons, while still keeping a mature look to the series.

Hmmm... Japanese animation would be good for MK... maybe if MK was more well-known and popular there... the only downfall would be that the story might and probably would be changed or misinterpreted, especially if Vogel or the MK team aren't involved with a plot at all...
And say by chance that MK did get an anime, I can only pray for the English dub...

I dont think the budget would be a problem at all, I'm more concerned with the direction of the show. As a tv cartoon series producers would want to make as much money off it as possible, so it would have to be toned down. Not only would it be bloodless and probably deathless, it would also have to be structured as a kids show, which would probably feel dumbed down for us older fans.

hmm, I'd rather have a new series of canon comic books, to be honest.

But seeing as Warner Bros. owns MK now, I could see like an animated movie or something definatly happening, I mean they do it with Batman and Superman alot.
