If you can get it for free, then go for it. Otherwise I wouldn't waste the money.
It's like 10-15 minutes long and the animation is very poor.

Huh? It's not 10-15 mins, it's like 45mins!

There are some cool cgi fighting scenes, some of which you will never find anywhere else in the MK world.

Shang Tsung vs The Temple of the Order of Light Master - Shang wins HIS 1st MK, in a cool scene.

Goro vs Great Kung Lao (my fave of the video) - Goro ends Lao's reign as champ, and begins his own regin.

Scorpion vs. Sub Zero - Cool fight, but it is set in Outworld, which is obviously wrong, but they were following the movie storyline.

Goro vs Durac - A fight to impress their Dad on his birthday or something, in the subterranean Shokan realm.

I think that's all the cgi fights, there are some crappy cartoon fights like Liu, Sonya and Cage vs Scorpion and Sub Zero on Shang's boat. The cartoon fights suck, but I think the video's watchable.

It explains some stuff about the MK tourney and its history, and there is a good 10 min 'behind the scenes' look at the making if the 1st MK movie which is good.

If you can find it cheap, buy it, I still own mine an it's not bad; I'd give it 6.5/10.
