If anyone has been paying attention to Robin Shou's official website (which is maintained by him) then you'd know that he is busy strutting his new movie he directed (Red Trousers) and going all over the world advertising it and putting it in festivals.

In the last two or three months, there is no way he could've been shooting MK3 movie as well.
