And you play Mortal Kombat? I am with Zentile on this, I am truly offended by this thread. But here's why:

It's: Kahn, Johnny Cage, Liu Kang, Kitana, Scorpion, Sheeva.

All the actors or "somewhat" actors you listed all suck and truly will never be able to get a part in a Mortal Kombat movie. The Rock? Jim Carrey? MORTAL KOMBAT IS ABOUT DARK, HORROR, SCARY... Mortal Kombat NEVER does comedy. Wow, and you call yourself a Mortal Kombat fan... THAT'S EMBARASSING! EDIT: Not to mention that this movie idea would probably even suck more than the second MK movie, and Street Fighter combined.

either way there is rumor of a new movie called mortal kombat 3 DEVASTATION. and you ideas are horrible.

As if the MK storyline isn't confusing enough on its own. As if some things weren't true in the movies before they became true in the canon MK universe. I love seeing something I like take new life in new forms whether or not it is good or bad. The only time I do not like this is when the original creator makes something new and related that blows where I feel it cheapens the franchise.

And the names you made are too important to take part in a low budget production,except for Great Khali which is actuallu a wrestler and he's going to film just everything to become more popular out of WWE audience.
However i don't see him as Goro at all.
The "fore armed ladie" is not going to be in the movie luckly because it wil be (90% of chances) based on the events of MK1.

and,now seriously,i agree with him on one thing:we need a MK movie.I really don't care if it confuse the Mk storyline,it's uncanonical...we need a splatter movie,with decent fighting scene coreography and good characterization or the warriors.nothing more.
the first movie lacked the gore/splatter thing but was perfect for the rest.
Conquest was good too,but i never liked Kung Lao,Siro and Taja as main heroes.Annihiliation,instead,needs to be forgotten as soon as possible.

Not every movie based on vgs or comics are different than the original. Not all the time. Spiderman wasn't like that, Fantastic Four wasn't like that. Batman, Resident Evil... Silent Hill... natta! Mortal Kombat, even with the failure of the second one, wasn't off from the story. Though, the second one... I really couldn't understand some of it, mostly is my fault for not paying attention at the movie, instead just laughing at every possible mistake it made, but... still, not every movie is different towards the original story from which it came from. You're wrong.

Spider man 3 was quite "out of the story" or "uncanonical".
and even tough a lot of movies were similar to the original franchise from which they came from,i really doubt that exists a MOVIE "totally identical" to the original source.Spider Man movies are just examples,of course but i know some others.
