I should've brought this up a long time ago. Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa is one of the characters that made the first movie so special. He was the most distinguished character of the film, literally i don't care what anyone else says, but its the truth. I don't know any other villian who my little nephew runs around quoting anytime someone brings up mortal kombat. Who else could have the whole production crew of the first movie quoting him around the editing room?...think im lying watch mortal kombat behind the scenes at the end of MK: the journey begins. He was such an awesome character and anyone who thinks he did horrible is obviously brain dead.

He did a great job as Tsung, so I would like him back.

He's a top actor for that part. Though I reckon the shang from MK Conquest is pretty good too. Not a better actor, but a better fighter.

For the movie though, Cary would be the best choice.

Oh yes, If Shang Tsung comes back Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa must play him. Though, isn't he a bit old now (Im not sure). That might be a problem. The guy who played Shang in MKConquest, Bruce Locke, was good. But Cary-Hiroyuki was great and the best in the original MK Movie. he had great screen presence.

Cary was in Elektra, he had around 2 lines. Funny part is, he made the most out of the very little screen time he had; His presence on screen is unbelievable, AMAZING actor.

He rocked in Mortal Kombat.

Yes he is much older now but thats perfect. He could play the old shang tsung which IMO is the coolest one of them all.

his aura/presence is what make Shang Tsung in First Mk movie so evil.
