i have a funny feeling it would be someone like sindel or kitana, coz i remember at the end of mk:a, sindel was all changed into a normal person and all.. so she may be weak or watever..

To fit with the MK game story line it would need to be Liu Kang, but then again the movies seem to have a storyline of all their own. It can't be Rayden since he already died and was resurrected in MK:A. (Not to mention a little thing of being immortal again, but he could give it up again since he does it often enough in the game.) Johnny returning so it can't be him. So of the returning characters it narrows down to Sonya, Jax, Kitana, and Sindel. (Maybe Sub-Zero, Scorpion, and Nightwolf but I doubt it since they don't seem too important to the movie storyline.)

My money is on Kitana or Jax if Liu Kang doesn't die. If Sindel dies, it wouldn't be much of a shock since her 'good' character is relatively new, and if Sonya dies...I rather not be around when the flames start. (esp when Queve finds out.)

My guess would also be Kitana, say if Liu Kang doesn't die, when Liu finds out she is dead he would want revenge on whoever did it. This could then be a possible storyline for the MK4 Movie, if there ever is one.

Liu Kang, 'cause he's the "chosen one" from mk fans. Mileena killed by kitana maybe...Kintaro in search for revenge because of Goro's death, killed by johnny, that would work..

What if you switched the Liu Kang seeks revenge for Kitanas killer, because it has to be Liu Kang, unless the death thing is just a lie.
