Deadly Alliance would be cool. I wouldn't mind seeing a lot more detail into the assassination of Shao Kahn. That would make it a lot better.
However, I would like them to base on on Deception. this would be cool. But they must base it on the Gamecube//Unchained version, so they can include Shao Kahn and Goro's storylines.

i have to agree with you shao kahns and goros story line was fully wicked like they probaly had the best out of all them on deception and unchained.

Yeah. I indeed loved them. I liked it how Goro had a temporary alignment switch too (despite of what anyone says), and then came to his senses and was loyal to Shao Kahn again.
Wouldn't mind seeing the whole Shao Kahn vs. Onaga rivalry thing further explored too. That would be cool.

yeh its kool how like goro got liked knocked out then he woke up and saw shao kahn that was pretty interesting because onaga is good but is he good enough to beat shao kahn and goro.

Of course he isn't. Shao Kahn and Goro are a might that is unstoppable, when their strength is combined. Take the following picture for example:
That was taken from Shao Kahn's Deception ending.

I'm sure he would have died whether they were poisoned or not. After all, it is 4 blades being shoved into your torso.
Also, don't forget, Onaga had the Kamidogu in his possession, so poisoning the blades was necessary to take him down.

Sorry, I don't completely understand what you mean by this post.

I think the next Mortal Kombat movie's storyline should be based on the Deadly Alliance / Deception's continuity. Although Annihilation was the piece of shit it was, i think it can be left where it is, as part of the non-canon Mortal Kombat timeline that is composed of the movies and tv series MK C.
Of course i would want a reboot of the series, or a movie around Sub Zero, it could be good too, but i just don't see it coming. So, continue the non-canon storyline already and use the events that preceded Shinnok's demise: the rise of the Deadly Alliance, and the appearence of Onaga.

That could be really cool dude. I would love to see Onaga's original downfall at the hands of Shao Kahn further explored too.

Believe it or not,I'd actually enjoy it if they made a movie out of the special forces era.Theres a lot of untapped characters and so much they could work with there.I think it would be exciting seeing no face and tremor in a movie along with a few other villians like kano and jerek and such in a movie. They don't have to use that story but to add them in is a interesting idea.If they did this it would be a spin off and honestly for a new mk movie that might work.
