in mk1 when liu is fightin reptile in outworld, where the hell is johnny cage?
he was with liu when liu grabbed reptile an throw him into that stone body,
it was not a mortal kombat battle so johnny could have helped.

Hmm...Well that's just how the movie was. It's kinda like saying,
"Where was Liu when Johnny was fighting Scorpion?" (I know, I know, he was at the tournament thing, I'm trying my best to explain.)
The fight was only to be between Liu and Reptile. Johnny Cage could have been watching, fighting something, or using the bathroom for all we know.
