Was it...

New Line Cinema's?
Threshold Entertainment's?
John R. Leonetti's?
The writer's?
The cast?
confused

Any definite answers will be appreciated.

It was all five of them!!furious

The producers who apparently thought MK fans don't care about the plot, characters, or even acting and we're just mindless puppets who only want to see 90 minutes of fighting.
The producers who dumbed the movie down to make it more "appealing" to the mass market.
Producers who put more oney into cheesey special effects than costumes, make-up, and possibly decent writers.
Writers who butchered the plot and characters to create an incoherant mutant version of the Mortal Kombat story.
Writers who also couldn't write decent dialogue and have no grasp of proper storytelling.
The director, but one must bear in mind this was his first time directing a movie.

I don't think blame falls on just one person. MK:A was a total cluster-fuck.

It was everybody's fault... but really, what does it matter? Why put more 'blame'? Hasn't MKA been trashed enough?

Mine.

...I sabotaged the cast by spiking their drinks with special "I can't act!" tablets....grin

Seriously though, it's not the actors fault. I can't put the blame on anyone...
If you want a Mega Cheese Fest, then MKAnnhilation is awesome! Try to look at it from that point of view.glasses

Anyone who even stepped on the set made this movie crap.
Actually it was mostly the writer cause the story sucked and it is partially directors fault for not trying to fix the script.

I belive that it wasn't anyones fualt. The phrase: ''No sequal is better than the original'' comes in when we are talking about MK:A.

With all todays modern technology and a range of cool action actors, The 3rd MK movie should do great -as long as they make it a stong, violent film, Becuase in the first two, They were just punch and kick with no/not much blood.

You want to know who'se fault it is? its simply to blame on the person who woke up one morning and said "HEY! Let's give raiden a HAIRCUT!"

Dont dat that the whole cast is to blame...Dont forget that the only good thing about that movie was Robin Shou (Liu Kang).

and why the hell did smoke have a missle? shouldnt sektor be the one with the missles?

why did Shao Kahn take his helmet off?

why was Sheeva in it?confused
