Will MK3 even make it into theaters?
Gamespot.com (which, for the record, has never been my first or most-trustworthy site on the net) has stated that the MK3 will most likely go straight to video or the Sci-Fi channel. I think that would suck! Obviously, expectations are low for MK3 all-round, but the potential to really do something good with the franchise is still apparent, especially with the majority of the original cast coming back. Well, what do you think? Will it hit theaters at all? Fatality.

NO! It better come out in theaters..usually tv movies have bad special fx and its not the same....it better go straight to theaters, its more amusing

This is really a no-brainer...Simply put...Mortal Kombat, made it to theaters, box-office hit. Annihilation, straight to VHS/DVD, total letdown. I think the directors will know what to do now, plus this will most likely be the last movie, so they should go big or not go at all.

hmm lets think for a min, mortal kombat conquest was mostly handled by threshold and they are handling all with mk3.And mk conquest was a tv show and that rocked so i think if it does go straight to video/dvd/tv.well who knows but yeah alot of times they do suck but i think with threshold handling it there is still some hope either way.
didnt mkconquest not flop coz of low ratings? even tho i loved it..

I think it will show in theatres, although it won't play very long, only a couple of weeks.
