Well, was wondering since the news flash on MK3 the other day.Now that it's officially starting over what do you guys think the appropriate rating should be for MK3?

I'm thinking depending how gorey or dark(MK is already dark) but from a bloody standpoint.Let's face it, if they made an MK movie like the games it would be a gorefest.

Your thoughts?I'm thinking they should go with the Rated R rating, however this movie will no doubt attract a younger crowd so that might play in as a huge factor.

i really hope it will be gor and bloody, even tough i don't think so.
However the gore scenes are unsensed in the main fighting scenes and now i'll explain why:
if Liu kang kills Shang tsung ripping off his arms and legs,Shang tsung can't comeback for a Mk2 movie,do you understand?
So i think that the minor characters(like masked guards, minions or reptile's animal) will die in a very painfull and gory death.
If we're lucky it ill be a rated R,i really don0t think it will be a 18+ movie, even tough this is the best solution for us.
And BTW this movie will share a lot of things with Shaolin Monks(the real reason why this third installement is become reality,in fact SM is the last game to have a huge success) so exspect Kitana, jax and baraka in this movie(or maybe Baraka not?) and a fighting scene between Reptile and Johnny cage;maybe also kung lao will be in it.
I'm no sure, but if every character uses his special moves at least once,we'll have a gory movie(xample:Cage and Liu' fireball,Kung lao'hat,Kitana's fan, etc).
A mk movie without blood is like a orange juice without orange......
