If the Mortal Kombat film franchise were to be refreshed with a new start (and I'm by no means saying it will be), just what would you want it to be like?

Personally, I agree with the individuals who say a remake of the series is the best idea at this point. It would allow for a much grander scope.

Firstly, it could actually follow the game storyline!

Secondly, with modern special effects, it could be amazing. Imagine a live-action version of the opening sequences we're seeing in 'Kombat games today.
